MLM Training | You Might Actually Need The Business Opportunity Hype

You Might Actually Need The Business Opportunity Hype

One of the things in network marketing that sometimes makes people cringe is the amount of excitement (or hype, as some might call it) that is such a fundamental part of the opportunity. You may like it or you may not, but in most MLM businesses, it’s there to stay.

I was one of those who looked down upon so much excitement until I discovered what an important part of the business it really is. Here’s what I discovered.

No matter who you are, your business experiences ups and downs. The highs can be very high, but the lows can be extremely low. I think that for most people, this is magnified in network marketing. There are few things more fulfilling than recruting someone and seeing them hit their first position or make their first substantial check. Yet who hasn’t experienced that same rep bail out a week later because one of thier friends convinced them that they could never make it. It’s frustrating and disheartening!

Here’s where the oppurtunity meeting comes in. You attend the next week, and afterwards you are invigorated, re-energized, and hopeful about your prospects. Where many people would have quit the business, you decided to attend one more weekly meeting and it is a good thing you did because you left there with a new vision.

I create this scenario not out of fantasy, but because this sort of thing happens to me and my acquaintances all of the time. We have grown to love the upbeat music, the clapping, the exciting presentations, and the recognition that accompany the meetings because that’s what MLM is all about! It’s natural to think that all of that is cheesy when you are just starting in the business, but I challenge you to give it a chance - your business will thank you for it.

And when you have a huge team that goes with you to all the the meetings, whether locally or nationally, they will see the excitement that you show towards the business and they hopefull want to emulate that. People usually do what the money-makers are doing, right?
