Work Is The Reality In An MLM Business

This may sound fairly obvious if you’ve read the posts that we have done up until now, but I still very often hear the phrase “get rich quick” associated with very reputable multi level marketing companies. This is clearly stems from a misunderstanding because a good MLM company can never be get rich quick.
Get rich quick is commonly known as a company that promises fast results with very little or no work. Many times these companies tell their new distributors that all they have to do is go get all of their friends to attend a meeting and sign up. If they do, they get a check and supposedly everyone is happy. A problem is that this scenario is walking the fine line into pyramid scheme territory.
If you are new to MLM, don’t let anyone ever convice you that it will be easy to reach the top position. It is possible and likely if you have drive, but it’s never easy. Our industry is misunderstood by many who believe that MLM companies have some pre-established heirarchy that make all the money as they get suckers to join their companies. Fact is that those who are at the top worked extremely hard to get there.
In MLM, we have to put ourselves out there if we want success. We have to call a lot of people. We have to talk to everyone. We have to organize meetings and present them well. Our lack of knowledge goes noticed by everyone who is looking at the business for the first time. We have to be consistent in attending company trainings any other kinds of events our company holds. This shows our commitment to the business and also can serve as a time to network. Simply put, we cannot be sitting at home waiting for the checks to start rolling in. We must be proactive and we must WORK!
