MLM - The Upside Down Pyramid

I love it when someone approaches me to tell me that network marketing is a pyramid scheme and that I watch out before the pyramid topples. They also might tell me to beware that an MLM company will get reported to the Better Business Bureau and I’ll lose my reputation and credibility.
I just laugh inside.
One of the best parts about multi-level marketing for me is that is is exaclty the opposite of a pyramid structure. What is a pyramid? Isn’t it where there is one person at the top making all the big money and everybody else makes less and less than him as you go further down the pyramid? I would say that is what it is. So why would I want to go to work for a man whose position I know I’ll never attain? I’ll be able to see him up there, but I probably would never get there.
I love MLM because the pyramid gets flipped upside down. I start at the bottom of the pyramid all by myself. I alone decide if I’ll have success or not. There are people there to help me along the way of course, but they can’t build my business for me. I have to do it with hard work and determination. As I work, my earning potential expands upward, just like an upside down pyramid. My earnings can become whatever I want them to become, with no ceiling! This is exacly why it’s not the system that fails to work, it’s us that fail to work the system. We sometimes fail to capitalize on our limitless potential, but it’s there.
I don’t know what could be better than limitless potential. It’s one of the reasons why MLM makes so much sense to me.
